Michael Learns to Rock concerts in Balikpapan, Yogyakarta and Surabaya

After their successful concert  in Indonesia in 2005, Danish pop-soft rock sensations Michael Learns to Rock are returning to quench their fans’ longing for sweet and romantic pop rock music in Indonesia. For their return tour this time, the Band is scheduled to perform in 3 citiesm they are: Balikpapan on 29th November, Yogyakarta on 1st December, and Surabaya on 4th December.

Organized by three promoters, Starlight Enterprise, Rajawali Indonesia, and Red Line Organizer, the Indonesian Tour of Michael Learns to Rock is promised to be bigger and grander than their 2005 show. The cities of Balikpapan (East Kalimantan), Yogyakarta, and Surabaya (East Java) have been chosen as their destinations this year considering the huge fan base that the band enjoys in Indonesia. This also proves that the capital Jakarta is not the only city in Indonesia where a big scale international show can be staged.

Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz and Kare Wanscher will surely indulge the audiences with their all time romantic hits such as ‘The Actor’,’25 Minutes’, ’Sleeping Child’, ‘Someday’,’ Paint My Love’, ‘That’s Why You Go Away’, and many more. The band will also perform hits from their latest Album ‘Scandinavia’ which was released on June 2012.

The band that shot their video clip ‘Someday’ at the Dreamland Beach, Bali was formed in 1988 and has sold over 11 million records worldwide. Additionally, another 6 million or more have paid downloads for their single "Take Me To Your Heart" which was awarded "the Most Downloaded Single of the Year 2006”. They have produced eight studio albums, as well as many live and greatest hits albums. They have won many awards and have earned Gold and Platinum status for their records in many countries.  They also received the Preis Award from RSH, Germany and were named as "The Best Performing Act of the Year" at the SEA Grammy Awards in Singapore.

Tickets for the MLTR Indonesia tour have been on sale since 30th September 2012 with prices ranging from IDR350,000 to IDR1,500,000.
