The largest and most comprehensive exhibition of gifts, housewares, and handicrafts in Indonesia and South East Asia: The Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT 2014) will be held at the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta from 23rd to 27th April 2014. This year, the exhibition will be participated by over 1,600 exhibitors within a 24,000 sqm of coverage area and feature more than 10,000 products.
Returning for the 16th edition, this year the exhibition will carry the theme “From Smart Village to Global Market” which emphasizes the promotion of small and medium enterprises to reach worldwide markets The Craft industry in Indonesia today starts to show its huge potentials. This is proven by the increasing number of local craftsmen who come up with new innovations and creative ideas for new products. Promising economic demand and market opportunities have made these industries more attractive and viable to explore which can also contribute to national economic growth and improvement.

The INACRAFT 2014 will feature various products, including Home & Garden Decorative items (Dry Flowers, ceramic flowers vase, Candle holder, Scarving, Ornament, Crafted Silver, Table Cloth, Cushion Cover, Placemats, Bed Covers, Embroidery, Rattan Furniture, Fiber Furniture, Garden Furniture, Kitchen Wares, Table wares, Bathroom wares, Carpet, paintings, etc.), Toys (Wooden toys, Soft toys, Board games, Inflatable items, Toy boxes, Footballs, Jigsaw puzzles, Education games, etc.), Jewelries (Gold, Silver, Pearls, Shell-made, Precious stones, etc.), Fashion Products (Painted Batik, Printed Batik, Stamped Batik, Silk, Fashion embroidery, Moslem Dress, Indonesian Ikat, Indonesian Songket, Indonesian Ulos, Hand woven fabrics, etc.), and more.
The booths of the INACRAFT 2014 will feature various local and international exhibitors including: Producers and Craftsmen, Exporters / Importers / Buying Agents, Collectors, Handicraft producer associations, Craftsmen Management Agencies, Related Ministries, Provincial Administrations, Municipal Administrations, District Administrations, Provincial Offices of Ministries, National and Provincial Handicraft Boards, Banks, and more.
Held annually for over a decade since 1999, INACRAFT has proven itself as the most significant event where craftsmen and artisans all across the archipelago present their finest artworks. The event has been acknowledged as the perfect arena where suppliers, distributors, policy makers, and customers gather for the development of Indonesia’s handicraft industries. INACRAFT has also gained recognition both from the national and international markets who seek fine quality products.
From the first INACRAFT in April 1999 through the thirteenth, INACRAFT has developed its own character as the right showcase to promote handicraft products for entrepreneurs, exporters, craftsmen from Indonesia and handicraft producing countries within Asia. Moreover, INACRAFT is well known by domestic and overseas buyers as a “must visit” exhibition to obtain high quality and favorite handicraft products.
INACRAFT 2014 is organized by The Association of Exporter and Producer of Handicraft of Indonesia (ASEPHI) in collaboration with Mediatama Binakreasi and fully supported by the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industry, Ministry for State Owned Enterprises, ASEAN Handicraft Promotion and Development Association (AHPADA), and Indonesia Exhibition Companies Association.
