Increased Direct Budget Flights to LOMBOK, PAPUA, SULAWESI and KALIMANTAN

Travelling to exotic destinations in Lombok, Central Sulawesi and Papua is now easier and faster as Indonesia’s Low Cost Carriers (LCCs) aggressively increase flights and open up new routes to cities in eastern Indonesia.
Facilitated by the opening of the new Lombok International Airport, Garuda Indonesia’s Budget airline subsidiary, Citilink has recently increased its Surabaya – Lombok flights to twice daily, offering special promotional fares from Rp.280,000 one way for booking and travel during the period between15 – 30 September . Sriwijaya Air, meantime, has also started operating flights from Jakarta to the town of Luwu in Central Sulawesi using Boeing 737-500W aircrafts. More International Routes from more Indonesian cities
Meantime on international routes, Batavia Air now flies from Jakarta and Bali to Guangzhou (China), Jakarta –Jeddah and Jakarta- Riyadh. While Singapore is served from Jakarta, Semarang, Bandung and Pontianak. The airline also flies Dili (Timor Leste) - Denpasar and Dili-Jakarta, as well as Pontianak (West Kalimantan) – Kuching (Malaysia).
From July onward, Garuda Indonesia now also operates four weekly flights between Singapore -Balikpapan (East Kalimantan).
