Indonesia.travel, the official tourism website of Indonesian Tourism under the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy Republic of Indonesia once again proudly presents a quiz with the prize of a trip to Komodo Island for 5 lucky winners. The quiz will be conducted continuously from October 18th to November 18th, 2012. The winners will be announced on November 23rd, 2012 on www.indonesia.travel.
The Quiz in English is open for participation to any foreigner (non-Indonesian) worldwide, while the Quiz in Bahasa Indonesia is open for participation to Indonesian nationals.
Winners of the Indonesia.travel quiz will be get the chance of a lifetime to visit the Komodo Island in a 3-days 2 nights trip. Enjoy the adventure in the wild and meet the legendary Komodo dragons in the Komodo National Park for Free.
To take part in the quiz, participants must first register (login) to www.indonesia.travel and click the available quiz link (click here). There will be 5 questions per day which participants must answer. Each correct answer will be given 5 points. There will be an additional 1 point for participants who are able to invite other friends to participate in or take part in the quiz. The total points gathered will be the accumulation of points collected until the quiz is closed.
5 participants will be declared winners based on the rank of accumulated points. Winners will be contacted via email and are required to submit personal data. If for any reason a winner is unable to send his or her personal data, indonesia.travel reserves the right to award the prize to the next in rank. indonesia.travel committee’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winners of Indonesia.travel quiz will be given the prize of a trip to Komodo Island. Enjoy the adventure in the wild and meet the legendary Komodo dragons in the Komodo National Park for free.
For the trip to Komodo National Park, the winners will receive International airplane tickets "economy class" (from the winners nearest city which has a direct flight to Bali, Indonesia), domestic flight "economy class" in Indonesia (Bali to Labuan Bajo), accommodation and meals. There is no alternative to the prize offered and the prize is non–transferable.
Located at the western end of Flores Island, in the East Nusa Tenggara Province, the Komodo National Park covers an area of 1817 km². This national park comprises both land and sea, including the islands that are largely savanahs inhabited by diverse endemic species, including the Komodo dragon (Varanus komodoensis).
Pink Beach and three beautiful islands inhabited by Komodo dragons, namely Komodo, Rinca and Gili Matang Islands are also part of the national park. Besides the amazing natural scenery and beautiful beaches, the under-sea life of Komodo National Park is also a stunning world inhabited by colorful and beautiful coral reefs and magnificent marine life.
