Special dishes in Hanoi

Hanoi is not only famous for its history of thousands of years of civilization, but also known with delicious and special dishes. Hanoi Nonprofit would like to introduce to you the dish not to be missed when traveling in Hanoi.

Hanoi Culinary is always attracts tourists with unique dishes. And here are some dishes not to be missed while traveling to Hanoi:

1. Pho ( Vietnamese noodle soup)

Pho is the first dish you should be enjoyed when you travel to Hanoi. Pho with beef shop is famous on Bat Dan street. There is not any waitress, you queue up to take a bowl of Pho, do the payment then find a seat and enjoy this delicious dish. The price for 1 bowl is from 30,000 VND to 50,000 VND, depend on the shop you choose. There are also a good shop in Ly Quoc Su street. If you want to try Pho with chicken, you can go to Quan Thanh street. In addition, you can try a strange type of Pho called sweet sour mixed Pho at Lan Ong or Luong Van Can street. It is said that if you travel to Hanoi without enjoying a bowl of Pho, it means you have not ever been here.

2. Cha Ca La Vong ( La Vong fried fish)

As famous as Pho, La Vong fried fish is also the popular dish with customers when travel to Hanoi. Fish is fried in a little oil pan, each table will have a small charcoal stove and put the fish on the pan. Fish is served with toasted bread, dry noodle, roasted peanuts, cilantro, basil, dill, fresh onion and shrimp sauce. Shrimp sauce is added some lemon juice, pepper, a little oil, white wine, a little fat and sugar.

3. Bun Cha ( noodle with grilled pork)

Small ball meat mixed with spicy  is grilled by coal. The dish is served with sweet and sour sauce made by vinegar, garlic, chili, pepper and green papaya sliced ​​into small pieces. Adding some cool noodle and fresh vegetable, you have a delicious Bun Cha.

4. Bun Thang ( Thang noodle)

This dish contains particular of Hanoi cuisine. Bun Thang includes a lot of ingredients like shredded chicken, fried eggs, microfiber sausage … The soup is made from pork bones and prawns

5. Banh Cuon ( rice rolls)

Rice is crushed into powder and mixed with water and then baked on the stove and pressed thin like papers. Then these rice paper are add some minced meat and mushroom and rolled. You can enjoy this dish with sausage, fresh vegetable and sauce.
