Central Java / Re: Karimunjawa, Beyond the Average
« Last post by TKI on February 24, 2013, 11:45:04 PM »

Pulau weh
Bali (Padang bai, candi dasa, amed, seraya, tulamben, kubu, puri jati, pemuteran, pula menjangan, dan secret bay gilimanuk) - paradise though not hidden. Nusa lembongan / Nusa penida are the litle sister of Bali.
Lombok dengan 3 gili nya
Pantai Tanjung karang, donggala - beautiful house reef, strech over 1.5 km, best palce for snorkeling ... and diving as well.
Marantale - 1 jam dari Palu, terletak di bagian teluk tomini - it's really hidden paradise, great visibility beautiful coral - unfortunately not many big fish
Gorontalo - another underwater hidden paradise, 15 - 1 hours by boat. home to endemic beautiful Salvador dali sponge
Togean - Kadidiri - lost paradise; and walea - lovely place, nice diving and great indo italian food
Bunaken - welcome paradise
Lembeh - critters paradise
Komodo - simply amazing paradise
Ambon - another critters paradise
Raja Ampat - trully paradise

West Papua / Re: What dive resorts offer nature trips to Wayag?
« Last post by TKI on February 24, 2013, 12:09:06 PM »
Quero
Kri/Eco does not normaly offer trip to wayag. I asked them when we're there - too far - most of their guess stay fo a week package and the dives sites around Kri is sufficient for most of them.
But they may arrenge if there's enough participants.

Aceh / Re: Pulau Weh: Discover the Hidden Beauty of Underwater

been there 2009, spent a week in Gapang Beach and dived with Lumba-lumba.
Bate Tokong is indeed amazing site for Moray lovers; dozens moray from your finger to as big as you -never see any other site so crowded with moray. One of them from my archive

But beware, not all sites are suitable for beginer
If you love riding current and fly like superman with lot pelagic, yes, you love Arus bale and selako drift.

Bali / Re: Where else should I go in Bali?
« Last post by TKI on February 24, 2013, 11:44:06 AM »
Bali is not only great topsite destination. In fact bali is home to the world class diving destination. If you are not into scuba diving - snorkeling is another excelent activity.
These sites is typically not crowded and limited night live - not all has white sand beach, but underawter is different story.
We travel to Bali practically every year - mostly to enjoy the underwater beauty.
Nusa Lembongan is only 30 minutes fast fery from Sanur. A lovely hideaway, nice beach and best dive sites 5 - 30 minutes away by boat.
Amed, small vilage 2.5 hours from Sanur is another lovely place to relax. Not far to the most popular dive destination in Bali - Tulamben.

I agreed, this is a hidden attraction, I would definitely like to go returning to Pulau Weh for more snorkeling, and perhaps a little more touring, although I don't think there is much more to see. I would have liked to invest a while discovering Iboih.

Hotels are common in there if money does not matter than you can stay at any luxury hotel, if you find some cheap and average places than Hotel Lading is good for you, it is located near main market.
