Recently, The Villas at Ayana Resort and Spa Bali were again crowned as The World’s Leading Island Villas in the World Travel Awards 2016 held at the Sun SiyamIru Fushi, in the Maldives on Friday, 2nd December 2016.
Amazingly, this is the 3rd consecutive victory for The Villas at Ayana Resort and Spa Bali after winning in the same category in 2014 and 2015.
The enchanting resort successfully toppled the competition of other favorite and prestigious resorts across the world including the Baros Resort and Retreat and Spa in the Maldives, the Raya Island Resort in Malaysia, the Quaila Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Taveui Palms Resort in Fiji, the Te Manava Villas and Spa in the Cook Island, and The St. Regis Bora-Bora Resort in French Polynesia.

Anna Augriana JSO, Director of Sales of Ayana Resort revealed that a number of world’s important figures have stayed at the resort. Among whom are Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe and Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Not only world leaders, but legendary Pop singer Michael Bolton-who is renowned for his soothing melancholic songs- was also said to have enjoyed his stay at the resort.
Meanwhile, Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism, Arief Yahya congratulated the Management of The Villas at Ayana Resort and Spa Bali for this achievement in the World Travel Awards 2016. "Congratulations, and never stop to reach international achievements that can inspire all Indonesia’s resorts, villas, and hotels to equally attain such global scale,” said Minister Arief Yahya.
