Now in 2021, Bali beats other world-famous destinations like Dubai, Rome, and Paris as presented in TripAdvisor’s official website on Tuesday (26/1/2021). This Indonesian paradise even overtook last year’s throne winner, London, United Kingdom.
Bali also ranked 1st in the most popular destination list in the Asia region, winning against top list countries like Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia. Referred to as “a living postcard, an Indonesian paradise that feels like a fantasy ” by TripAdvisor, Bali proves to be a crowd favorite in Asia.

TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award brings together a list of iconic places, presenting top of the radar wish list of international tourists. The award is based on an algorithm of saves, reviews and ratings worldwide. They took account of the quantity and quality of the country’s hotels, restaurants, and attractions for 12 months, rewarding 25 outstanding places around the world. This year they showcased four 2021 Award Winner categories, including most popular destinations, trending destinations, emerging destinations, and national parks.
Along with being the front-runner in the world’s most popular destination category, Bali snagged spots in other categories, too. Kelingking Beach ranked #4 and Nusa Dua Beach ranked #21 on the list of Asia’s Best Beaches.
