To get there, you need to get to a district called Likupang by taking an approximately 48 km drive from Manado, either by public transportation or your private car.
Besides its white sand beach, Likupang beach also has underwater scenery that will hypnotize you with its picturesque sea creatures. This place is also perfect for you to relax and enjoy the calm waves. With that, snorkeling and diving have become the main attractions for tourists to do when they visit Likupang beach.
If we talk about Bali, one of the most popular beaches that comes to tourists' minds will be Kuta beach as it is a lively yet laid back place. It has a number of attractions to offer including white sand beach. There are some local restaurants and spas for tourists to choose so they can experience the local culture of Bali itself.
With its bright white sands, a lot of people recommend Kuta beach as a must-visit place to go surfing in Bali. Meanwhile in the evening, visitors can enjoy the local traditional cuisines while catching the sunset view from the beach.

To get to Kuta beach, it only takes 15 minutes from the Ngurah Rai International Airport, as it is located on Bali's west coast. You can go there by taking public transportation such as taxis or renting cars or motorcycles from locals.
As the emerging world-class Sport-Tourism destination, Bintan has a number of tourist attractions, including one of its white sand beaches, Trikora. This awe-inspiring beach is a gateway to discovering all the other marvels that it has to offer.
The beach is located on the east side of Bintan Island in the Riau Archipelago province, specifically in Malang Rapat village, Gunung Kijang sub-District, or about 45 kilometers to the east of the center of Tanjung Pinang town.
Trikora beach itself is a photogenic beach with exotic boulders with rows of "kelongs" or fish traps that you might find interesting to look at.
Another scenic white sand beach that has become the most-visited place for international tourists in Indonesia is Gili Trawangan beach in Lombok island. When you arrive at Gili Trawangan, be ready to be greeted by the beautiful blue water and a white sand beach. Apart from its local restaurants and warm white sand beach, the underwater panoramic view is astonishing. That is why a lot of visitors come there to go snorkeling and diving.
To get there, you'll have to get on a boat from either Bali or Lombok as there is no airport in the Gili Trawangan.
Another promising white sand beach that is located in Lombok Island is Mandalika beach. Mandalika itself is a region in the south part of the island where you can enjoy the beauty of green savannah hills and marvelous beaches at the same time. With its crystal clear waters and white sand, Mandalika offers an instagramable scenery for the visitors. It is also a good place to escape from hustle as you can relax there by laying down on the beach while adhering to the sounds of the calm waves.
If you plan to visit Mandalika beach, you can take a direct flight to Lombok International Airport. From Bali, you can also take a ferry from Padang Bai Harbor to Lembar Harbor in Lombok. From there you can take a bus or a taxi to Mandalika that will take about 2-3 hours.
