Radiating the island’s unforgettable romantic tropical aura, the beautiful Bintan Resort in the Riau islands has been selected as venue where 22 couples from China will make their wedding vows on Tuesday, 10th May 2016. The event is held in collaboration with most resort operators in the Bintan Resorts, China’s Rose Wedding company, the Changi Airport Group, Singapore Airlines, Singapore Alive (JTB company) and media from various provinces of China who will all be on Bintan to broadcast this exclusive event on major TV stations and platforms.
A total of 100 people including the Brides, Grooms and their families will be present; as well as Deputy Director of Shanghai Tourism Bureau; Chairmen of partners; media and crew , who are all scheduled to arrive in Bintan from Shanghai on 9th May and will stay on the island until 12th May 2016 during the honeymoon. Apart from the wedding ceremony, couples will also take pre-wedding photoshoots, site visits to a number of resorts, while families will take tours to South Bintan, play golf, be spoilt by the invigorating spa wellness treatment, and of course, enjoy the sumptuous fresh seafood served on the island.
As more and more people are in search of unique and romantic wedding destinations, Bintan has made efforts to promote the island not only as a unique vacation destination but also as a perfect location for romantic weddings and honeymoons. Based on these reasons, a series of handcrafted packages have been launched to promote Bintan Resorts as a wedding and honeymoon destination, suitable for pre-wedding photo/video shoots along the swathe of white sand beaches and at luxurious hotels, for the actual wedding ceremony and romantic celebrations.
