Planning for A Trip to Bali? Read These New Requirements First

New regulations have been imposed for those who are planning an essential domestic trip to Bali by air, land, and sea. This is in accordance with the Circular Letter (SE) of National Covid-19 Task Force Number 22 of 2021 regarding Requirements of Domestic Traveling in Times of Covid-19 Pandemic (SE22/2021) as well as the Instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs No. 57 of 2021. 

 

These imposed regulations took effect from Tuesday, 2 November 2021.

All domestic travelers who are using air transportation mode are required to present these documents when visiting Bali:

  • Vaccine cards/certificates (minimum first dose) and negative RT-PCR certificate with sample taken within a maximum period of 3 x 24 hours before departure, or
  • Vaccine cards/certificates (second dose of vaccination) and negative Rapid Antigen result, with sample taken within a maximum of 1 x 24 hours before departure.

Exemption of presenting vaccine cards/certificates applies to:

  • Travelers under 12 years age, and
  • Travelers with specific health conditions.

All domestic tourists planning a trip to Bali by land or sea are also required to follow these regulations:

  1. All passengers must present an official negative PCR Swab test result or negative antigen test result 2 x 24 hours before departure. The test result must show an official barcode / QR code to prove the tests’ authenticity to be able to visit Bali.
  2. All passengers must complete an eHac Indonesia application.
  3. Passengers under the age of 5 are not required to present an RT-PCR / Rapid Antigen Test / GeNose C19 Test as a requirement.

All tourists who travel to Bali are required to carry out health protocols, namely to wear a mask, wash hands, and keep physical distance.
