Festival Teluk Lalong

Festival Teluk Lalong 2025 highlights the preservation of nature and local culture. In 2025, the festival will feature a new attraction—a beautiful boat parade in the waters of Teluk Lalong, with boats decorated in traditional styles, showcasing the stunning beauty of the bay. As part of conservation efforts, the event will include the release of cardinal fish to support coral reef restoration at the Kilo 5 area. This initiative aims to restore marine ecosystems and enhance the underwater tourism experience.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to visit the Maleo Center, where they can learn about the conservation of the Maleo bird, an endemic species of Sulawesi. The evening will feature cultural performances and collaborations across villages and districts. Additionally, there will be spaces for local UMKM entrepreneurs. The festival aims to strengthen connections between key tourist destinations in Luwuk and raise awareness about environmental and cultural preservation in Banggai.
