5 Lakes Festival

The Lima Danau Festival is an annual event celebrating the beauty of five renowned lakes in Solok: Lake Singkarak, Lake Diatas, Lake Dibawah, Lake Talang, and Lake Aie Batumbuak. Previously, the Lima Danau Festival  was included as one of the 110 Karisma Event Nusantara (KEN) events for 2024, alongside five other events in West Sumatra.

This festival aims to attract tourists while boosting the local economy by showcasing the unique characteristics of Solok. To achieve this, the event collaborates with various stakeholders, including community groups, students, art groups, and creative economy players in Solok Regency.

The Lima Danau Festival not only highlights the natural beauty of Solok's five lakes but also serves as a platform to preserve Minangkabau culture through a variety of cultural performances.
