Rampak Genteng

About the Event
Rampak Genteng is a biennial festival marking the beginning of the Ceramic Music Festival in Jatiwangi. Since its inception in 2012, Rampak Genteng has become the 'Lebaran' moment for the people of Jatiwangi, where thousands of residents participate in playing tiles to symbolize a collective agreement to build the new city identity of "Kota Terakota" in Majalengka, based on local resources.

This event will be celebrated with various activities, including the Rampak Genteng Reunion, Ceramic Musical Instrument Workshop, Community Firing Ritual (a ritual of firing ceramic musical instruments with thousands of workshop participants), Music Composition Workshop, and the Rampak Genteng Performance.

Getting to the Event Location
From Kertajati International Airport:

• Transportation: Use a taxi or online ride service.
• Distance: Approximately 20 km.
• Travel Time: About 30-40 minutes.

From Cirebon Railway Station:

• Transportation: Take a taxi or public transport to Majalengka.
• Distance: Approximately 50 km.
• Travel Time: About 1-1.5 hours.

From Majalengka Bus Terminal:

• Transportation: Take a city transport (angkot) or taxi.
• Distance: Approximately 5 km.
• Travel Time: About 10-15 minutes.
