Your lifetime journey should include a visit to Wakatobi, another extraordinary destination. Wakatobi is home to about 750 out of a total of 850 coral species found worldwide. Wakatobi is an abbreviation of four main islands in Southeast Sulawesi: Wangi-wangi, Kaledupa, Tomia, and Binongko. It happens to be a marine national park, covering approximately 1.4 million hectares and ranking among the world's largest coral conservation areas. When you engage in diving or snorkeling here, you will encounter unique marine life that will be your underwater companions.

Afterward, you can take a boat ride, locally known as "taksi," which costs Rp30,000 per one-way trip to Bunaken.

Here, you can dive alongside a variety of colorful marine creatures, ranging from clownfish (like Nemo) to mermaid fish. Interestingly, these waters are home to at least 91 protected unique fish species. You'll definitely want to try diving or snorkeling in this magnificent underwater world!
