Strolling Around Kemayoran
There are many other things that you get to enjoy in We The Fest 2019. There is an Art Village, which is WTF’s gift for the artsy side of you craving to see lively artwork here in the venue. There will also be a carnival filled with fun games you get to enjoy with your friends as you wait for your favorite artists and many more fabulous experiences.
Jiexpo itself is located right in the heart of Central Jakarta in the Kemayoran Area. Fun fact: this beautiful building was once Jakarta’s airport! Around here you can find a lot of things to do while you wait for We The Fest to start.
For those of you that are excited to check out WTF’s Art Village, you can visit museums around the venue. There is the Art 1 New Museum and the Sophilia Art Center. It is both very close to each other and opens at around 10 a.m, so there’s plenty of time for you to enjoy the beautiful artwork it offers! For those who are looking to shop before the festival should really visit the shopping havens of the city, which is Pasar Baroe and Mangga Dua. You can find anything you want right here in these two most-visited tourist destinations with a cheaper price and great quality.
Located in Kemayoran Block 1, you can also visit Lenggang Jakarta Kemayoran for some local treats that you must definitely try out! Try the deep fried catfish served with steamed rice and fried tempeh or tofu. You can also try out their Rendang Fried Rice or the scrumptious Soto Betawi.
