Get Ready, Bali is Gearing Up to Welcome You Back!

It has been a long time since the beauty of Bali is far from reach, and we know you guys have missed it. Now, you can feel a little bit relieved because Bali is doing an extensive preparation to welcome international tourists back.

The government is planning the preparation in an extremely careful manner to make sure that the future tourists will experience the most convenient visit by the time they return to Bali. There are three priorities for the preparation: a COVID-19 vaccination program, end-to-end health protocol implementation, and the designation of three green zones (Ubud, Sanur, and Nusa Dua).

Currently, it is reported that the COVID-19 vaccination program in three green zones in Bali has been accomplished, with 45,417 people in Gianyar (Ubud), 34,041 people in Denpasar (Sanur), and 90,902 people in Badung (Nusa Dua) getting their vaccine shots.

In terms of health protocol implementation, since 2020, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy has been put in charge to commence the InDOnesia CARE initiative: a movement to encourage the value of cleanliness, health, safety, and environmental sustainability across the tourism industry in Indonesia as mandatory precautions. Currently, approximately 1,006 tourism businesses in Bali have been granted InDOnesia CARE certification, meaning that they have been fulfilling the standard of health implementation. The list includes hotels and non-hotels including restaurants, homestays, villas, natural tourist attractions, shopping centers, transportation services, and diving tours. Furthermore, 855 more businesses are also targeted to receive the same certification by the end of 2021.

You will also notice that when you arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, you will find the Safe Travel Stamps displayed in several parts of the airport. The stamp has been given by the World Travel & Tourism Council since August 2020, after Angkasa Pura I--the state-owned company managing the airports in Indonesia--sends the airport health protocol to the agency for complete assessment. The Safe Travel Stamp is meant to show the public that Angkasa Pura I has consistently implemented health protocols related to preventing the spread of COVID-19, which in this case refers to Safe Travels WTTC dan ICAO Takeoff Guideline for Aviation protocol as determined by health authorities and international standards.

The InDOnesia CARE certifications in tourism businesses and the Safe Travel Stamps in the airport means that you will be subjected to strict health protocol implementation during your trip in Bali in each checkpoint. This means that you have less to worry about since your convenience will be taken care of along the journey.
