We pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Klungkung, the old capital of Bali (1740-1908), to see the court of justice (Kerta Gosa).
Kerta Gosa remains to be a justice place for lawbreaker. Along with colonial governance, the penal system in Indonesia changed from a system of death duties (traditional Majapahit) to a continental penal system which was introduced by the Dutch. Afterwards, we will stop at Bukit Jambul, the hill with a nice view on rice terraces. Then we proceed to Besakih Temple, which is located at the foot of the 3,142m high volcano Gunung Agung. It is called Mother Temple because it is the most important sanctuary of Balinese Hindus, the biggest Hindu temple of Bali and also the Hindu center of the universe.
Through Bangli district we drive into the beautiful village Penglipuran, where old Balinese traditions are still maintained. Then we visit the very quiet temple Pura Kehen and afterwars bring you back to your hotel
