1. The land of Borobudur 'Wringin Putih'
The Lands of Borobudur are located in the village of Jetis Kajuy, in Wringin Putih village, in the Borobudur district, about 4 kilometers from Borobudur Temple. If you walk at a pace of 10 minutes per kilometer, it will take you about 40 minutes to reach this place. But if you're a fast walker, you’ll surely get there even quicker!
The path to the Land of Borobudur can be accessed via the one-way road in front of Borobudur Temple. Due to its location on this route, it’s known as the Land of Borobudur. Thanks to its location and the amenities it offers, this new tourist area embraces a philosophy of natural, family-friendly tourism, perfect for Instagram and suitable for all age groups. The Land of Borobudur in Magelang is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The entrance fee is 40,000 rupiahs per person. Children who are 80 cm tall or taller must also purchase an entry ticket.
Additionally, there are extra charges for some attractions, except for the swimming pool. The combined price for all attractions is 60,000 rupiahs per person, which includes the rainbow slide, monorail, mini-train, and the 'flying chairs' ride. 6. Punthuk Setumbu
The name Punthuk Setumbu probably sounds familiar. This spot went viral a few years ago when it was featured as a filming location for the movie Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? 2 (What’s Up with Love? 2). It has since become one of the most popular routes for tourists, thanks to the stunning natural beauty along the way. Located about 4 kilometers from Borobudur Temple, it takes an additional 15 to 20 minutes on foot to reach the summit. The trail can be a bit tiring, but don’t worry—once you reach the top, all your effort will be rewarded with a captivating sunrise backdrop over Borobudur Temple. Be sure to check the weather before starting your ascent so that your effort and fatigue aren’t in vain.
Punthuk Setumbu is open from 4:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the entrance fee is around 20,000 Rp per person. If the weather is good, you can continue your journey to Bukit Barede, which is located nearby.
7. Village touristique de Wringin Putih
