Phase II Covid-19 Vaccination Held with Drive-Thru in Bali

The Phase II Covid-19 Vaccination Program in Bali was officially launched by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno, at the end of February. The program, named the Grab Vaccine Center in Nusa Dua, Bali, is one of the government's efforts to revive the tourism sector, which has been heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, particularly in Bali. The target is approximately 663,000 people, including tourism workers, the elderly, and online motorcycle drivers, who will be vaccinated before June 2021. Experience Indonesia in 360.

For its implementation, the Ministry of Health, together with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, partnered with Grab Indonesia and Good Doctor Technology Indonesia to implement a vaccination area concept with both walk-in and drive-thru options. This makes Bali the first region in Southeast Asia to carry out vaccinations using these two methods. The designated vaccination locations are in five tourist areas: Kuta, Sanur, Ubud, Nusa Dua, and Nusa Penida. The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy ensures that the Phase II Covid-19 Vaccination Program in Bali also adheres to CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability) protocols.
