Separately, Acting Deputy Marketing I of the Ministry of Tourism, Ni Wayan Giri Adnyani expressed her high appreciation for the staging of the event as well as for efforts of Batam’s golf stakeholders to develop the golf sport, thereby making golf sports a very alluring attraction for Batam and the Riau Islands. Adding, that, indeed, golf tournaments are regularly held here almost every month, which unfailingly attract enthusiasts, also from neighboring countries like Singapore and Malaysia. For this reason, Batam could well be dubbed a Paradise for Golfers since golf games in Indonesia cost less than in other countries.
