The Indonesian Islamic Museum KH Hasyim Asy'ari (MINHA) is the place where they hold the collections of knowledge that encompasses three pivotal eras: the advent of Islam in the nation, the struggle for independence, and the intellectual contributions of Islamic figures. Nestled within the confines of a pesantren (Islamic boarding school) in Jombang, East Java; the museum was initially established as a learning and knowledge hub, aiming to impart Islamic values in Indonesia with a strong emphasis on tolerance towards the nation’s cultural diversity.
This museum highlights prominent figures in Islamic history such as K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari and the 4th President of Indonesia, K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur). Through masterpiece collections such as: Mbah Hasyim's robe and Ancient Manuscripts, the museum offers a participatory experience for visitors, communities, organizations, and Islamic figures in Indonesia, in representing tolerance through diversity, by collectively involving various parties to preserve the rich and diverse heritage Islam in the nation.
