How to get there
By Air: Tourists can fly to Haluoleo Airport in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi, then continue the journey to Bau-bau City, followed by a ferry crossing via Batu Bridge which takes about 6 hours.
By Land: Tourists can use public transportation or rent a vehicle from the capital of Bombana Regency, Rumbia, then cross by sea to Sekeli Kabaena Barat Port which takes about 5 hours, followed by a 1.5-hour drive. There are several travel options to reach the island, including taking a ferry from Batu Bridge in Bau-bau City, which takes about 6 hours, or a ferry for about 5 hours. You can also choose to take a jet boat from Murhum Port in Bau-bau City directly to Batuawu Port in Central Kabaena District, which takes about 3 hours.
