Adityawarman Museum is one of the famous museums in West Sumatra, Indonesia. Established in 1974, it is named after Adityawarman, a king from the Malay kingdom. The museum serves as a center for the preservation and exhibition of Minangkabau cultural heritage and ethnographic collections from West Sumatra and other regions.
The museum houses historical and cultural artifacts found in the West Sumatra province, especially those related to Minangkabau and Mentawai culture and history. In 2006, the museum held 5,781 items. The most famous collections at the Adityawarman Museum are relics from the Malay-Buddhist Dharmasraya kingdom in the 11th century, such as the duplicate Bhairawa statue and the Amoghapasa inscription (originally stored at the National Museum).

Access by Air: Visitors coming from outside the city can use air transportation to Minangkabau International Airport. From the airport, the journey can be continued by taxi or public transport to downtown Padang, which is about 25 km away.
Access by land: various transportation options are available such as buses, travel services, or private vehicles. Padang city is well connected by highways from various cities in West Sumatra.
