Official Statement of The Closing of Komodo National Park Due to COVID-19

Due to the spread of global pandemic COVID-19, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, along with the Directorate General of Conservation of Natural Resources and Ecosystems, decided to close down Komodo National Park temporarily. Any research, education, expedition, and other activities that involve many people are also temporarily suspended. This policy will be evaluated with regards to the policy of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry along with the Directorate General of Conservation of Natural Resources and local governments to counter the outbreak of COVID-19.
