JAKARTA, 10 March 2022 - In the light of MotoGP 2022 event, which will be held in Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit in Lombok Island - West Nusa Tenggara, the government has prepared a set of regulations in order to prevent further transmission of COVID-19 through the Circular of the Head of COVID-19 Handling Task Force No. 14 of 2022 regarding the Bubble System Health Protocol on MotoGP 2022 Event in Mandalika in the Times of Coronavirus Disease 2019 Pandemic.
Here are the requirements and regulations for the participants of MotoGP 2022 in Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit:
Participants and spectators of the MotoGP 2022 bubble system in Mandalika with the status of foreign nationals and Indonesian citizens can enter the MotoGP 2022 bubble area in Mandalika through the international arrival gate with the following mechanism:
a) Travel directly through the entry point to the 2022 MotoGP bubble system area in Mandalika;
b) Transit through the entry point and then continue the domestic journey to the 2022 MotoGP bubble system area in Mandalika; or
c) Domestic travel by air, land, or sea to the 2022 MotoGP bubble system area in Mandalika
Upon arrival at the international arrival gate in Lombok, all players of the MotoGP 2022 bubble system in Mandalika, except for support staff, must comply with the following conditions/requirements:
a) Have downloaded the PeduliLindungi app and filled out the form of e-HAC International Indonesia.
b) Presenting the card or certificate (physical or digital) of receiving the full dose of COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 (fourteen) days before departure written in English or in other languages than the language of the country/region of origin of arrival, and verified on the website of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia or e -HAC International Indonesia;
c) Presenting negative results of RT-PCR examination in the country/region of origin whose samples are taken within a maximum period of 2 x 24 hours before departure and attached at the time of the health check or e-HAC International Indonesia;
d) Exclusive for racers, officials, officers or committees, VVIPs, and journalists: presenting proof of official documents of involvement in MotoGP 2022 activities at Mandalika;
e) Exclusive for spectators, showing proof of booking confirmation and payment for tickets and/or lodging in the 2022 MotoGP bubble area in Mandalika;
f) Participants of the 2022 MotoGP bubble system in Mandalika with the status of foreign nationals, except for support staff, must meet the following requirements:
i. Present a visit visa or other entry permit in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations; and
ii. Present proof of ownership of health insurance with a minimum coverage value of USD 25,000 which includes financing for handling COVID-19 and medical evacuation to a referral hospital.
g) Undergo body temperature check and RT-PCR examination upon arrival at the gate;
h) In the event that the results of the RT-PCR examination upon arrival at the international arrival gate as referred to in letter f are negative, the participants of the MotoGP 2022 bubble system in Mandalika (except for support staff) can continue the journey by following the established procedures to the pick-up and delivery to the destination location according to the bubble group.
I) In the event that the results of the RT-PCR examination upon arrival at the international arrival gate as referred to in letter f are positive, it will be followed up with the following provisions:
i. If there are no symptoms or experiencing mild symptoms, isolation or treatment will be carried out in isolation accommodation separate from the bubble system area; or
ii. If accompanied by moderate or severe symptoms, and/or with uncontrolled comorbidities, isolation or treatment at a COVID-19 referral hospital; and
iii. The cost of isolation/treatment for foreigners is borne independently, while for Indonesian citizens it is borne by the government.
After completing the MotoGP 2022 activities in Mandalika, all participants of the MotoGP 2022 bubble system in Mandalika are required to follow the health protocols or requirements that apply in the destination country/region.
The International Airport Health Office facilitates Indonesian citizens or foreign nationals participating in the MotoGP 2022 bubble system in Mandalika who require emergency medical services upon arrival in Indonesia in accordance with applicable regulations.
This regulation applies from 8 March 2022 until the event is officially declared as ended by the MotoGP 2022 Organizer.
