Riau Sang Nila Utama Regional Museum

The Riau Sang Nila Utama Regional Museum is located in Pekanbaru, Riau. Established in 1991, this museum aims to collect, preserve, and showcase various collections related to the Malay culture of Riau. Sang Nila Utama is the name given to a king from Bintan who ruled around the 13th century AD.

  2. Main Floor: Features historical collections such as traditional clothing, traditional games, musical instruments, and artifacts.
  3. First Floor: Displays collections of Riau's natural resources such as petroleum and a replica of a royal palace.
  4. Miniature Oil Drilling Equipment: A donation from Chevron.
  5. Whale Skeleton Collection: Located in the museum's backyard.

Groups of 20 or more: Rp 4,000/person

Foreign Tourists (Adults): Rp 15,000
