Buleleng Regency is also home to several hot springs that offer unique and rejuvenating experiences for visitors. Banjar Hot Springs (Air Panas Banjar) is one of the most popular in a lush tropical garden. The spring features three pools of warm, sulfur-rich water, cascading from the mouths of stone-carved dragons. The soothing waters are believed to have therapeutic properties, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and wellness. The area is surrounded by serene landscapes.

Another noteworthy hot spring is Yeh Sanih, located near the coastal village of Singaraja. Unlike the sulfuric Banjar springs, Yeh Sanih is fed by underground freshwater springs, believed to originate from the volcanic mountains in the region. The spring water is cool and refreshing, perfect for a dip after a day of exploring the nearby beaches. The natural pool is surrounded by shaded gardens, providing a tranquil atmosphere that is less crowded than other tourist spots, offering an intimate connection with nature.

4. Religious and Sacred Sites in Buleleng
Buleleng is home to several sacred and religious sites that offer tourists a glimpse into the island's rich spiritual heritage. One such site is Petirtan Mumbul, a holy spring believed to possess purifying powers. Another significant site in Buleleng is the Purohita Temple, a lesser-known yet profoundly spiritual location. Nestled in a quiet, forested area, this temple is dedicated to the Purohita, the priests who perform sacred rituals. The temple's unique feature is its peaceful and secluded environment, which offers a deep connection with nature and the divine. Renowned for its sacred spring, Pura Tirta Lebah is a must-visit for those interested in Bali's religious traditions. With its traditional Balinese architecture and the soothing sounds of flowing water, the temple complex presents a deeply spiritual atmosphere.

Nestled in Banjar, just a picturesque thirty-minute drive from Lovina, this unique site stands out as one of only a few on the island and has intriguing blend of Buddhist and Hindu influences. Perched atop a hill, the monastery offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding countryside. The monastery features sculpted and landscaped gardens, dedicated Buddhist prayer areas, and numerous statues of various deities. The upper-level temple area notably includes a replica of the Borobudur Temple and the famed Gateway to Heaven.

Meanwhile, Pemuteran Beach offers a different experience with its vibrant coral reefs and excellent snorkeling opportunities. The beach’s tranquil setting is complemented by views of the nearby Menjangan Island, known for its protected marine park. Pemuteran is approximately a 2-hour drive from Lovina Beach and can be reached from the central town of Seririt or directly from Bali’s northern coastal road.

For those seeking a more secluded retreat, the black sand beaches of Sumberkima are ideal. This less frequented spot provides an authentic Balinese beach experience with its rugged natural beauty and stunning sunsets. Located about an hour’s drive from Pemuteran, visitors can access Sumberkima via the main road connecting the northern coastal areas.
