  1. Capture the best moments at two waterfalls Not many villages offer such a wide variety of tourist spots within one area, but Pronojiwo Village does! The first one is Kabut Pelangi Waterfall, which is sourced from Mount Semeru. The waterfall stands about 75 to 95 meters tall. It’s called Kabut Pelangi because, during the morning, mist forms a rainbow between two rocks in front of the waterfall. To reach this spot, you’ll need to trek 1.4 km.

The second is Kapas Biru Waterfall. This waterfall is formed by several rivers flowing from above, including from Sumber Telu. It's called Kapas Biru because the waterfall looks like blue cotton when photographed. The waterfall is about 100 meters tall. There’s also a campground for tourists who want to camp near the waterfall. To get there, you need to trek 1.3 km from the parking area. To catch the best views, it’s recommended to visit both waterfalls between 9 AM and 11 AM.

  2. Hunt for Instagram-worthy spots at Sumber Telu In addition to the waterfalls, Pronojiwo Village also has an amazing Instagrammable spot: Sumber Telu. This spot features several springs flowing from under a cliff, above Kapas Biru Waterfall. The spring water is crystal clear and refreshing. One of the best photo spots is by the carefully arranged rocks with spring water flowing between them. It's called Sumber Telu because there are several water sources feeding into the river. It’s only about 300 meters from the parking lot.

  3. Taste unique local food and buy aesthetic handicrafts Pronojiwo Village also boasts unique local products. Among them are culinary delights made from salak (snake fruit), such as salak chips and salak dodol (a traditional sweet). Both are quite popular among tourists visiting the village. As for handicrafts, locals make bamboo products such as cups, teapots, and utensils. The village also holds an event called Pasar Tiban, where you can find local products like traditional foods and more.

  4. Stay in a luxury resort-style homestay Looking for a homestay that feels like a luxury resort? Pronojiwo Village has it! The homestays are designed in a circle, with an aesthetic swimming pool in the center. The modern, small houses have complete facilities and offer a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by lush forests. This is a great place to relax and unwind during your visit to Pronojiwo.

  5. Enjoy mesmerizing traditional performances Besides the beautiful natural spots, delicious food, and comfortable accommodations, Pronojiwo Village also offers cultural experiences. There are performances of traditional arts like kuda lumping (a Javanese dance-drama) and barong cokot (traditional dance), organized by local art groups. There’s also a campursari music group made up of young people who blend traditional and modern music. These performances are held during village events and for tourists.
